Fun fact about King Midas, the version of the myth where he turned his daughter into gold isn’t in the original. That version isn’t even from Greece or Rome; it’s an English spin on the myth. In the original, all that happens is he realizes he can’t eat anymore and goes back and begs Dionysus to revert the wish, and Dionysus easily agrees. He also has a whole separate myth where he claims to like the music of the God Pan better than Apollo (the literal GOD of music), so Apollo insults Midas’s contrarian ass by telling that he in fact had the EARS of an ass. Apollo then proceeded to turn Midas’s ears into donkey ears, which really only had the impact of being embarrassing for Midas. Real nitpick I have with these types of videos, but most of these clips are not ‘out of context’ as the videos show what tangent matpat is on before then providing the context of what game/film etc he is talking about, for example, the first clip would be out of context if it cuts before he even starts connecting it to minecraft
